Churches in Bicester Parish

Emmanuel Church

Barberry Place Bicester

http://www.emmanuelbicester.org.uk

Emmanuel Church is a lively, evangelical and charismatic church based in Bicester. We are a Church of England church, formed in December 2002 as a plant from St Aldate’s and St Ebbe’s churches in Oxford, and are now a part of the Bicester Team.

We meet every Sunday in our new church building that opened in December 2012.

St Edburgs

Church Street Bicester
(01869) 323458
http://www.stedburgschurch.org

Bicester Parish Church is dedicated to St Edburg. St. Edburg (or Eadburh or Edburga) was a Saxon and very likely the leader of a religious house - or houses - in Oxfordshire. She may have been the aunt of St. Osgyth, another Oxfordshire Saxon, and may also have been the sister of Wulfere, king of Mercia.

We are part of the Bicester Area Team Ministry.  Our Parish Vicar, currently in vacancy, is also the Rector of the Bicester Benefice.

Disabled access is via the South door which has a ramp.  Toilet facilities, including disabled access, are available in church.
